Nationals?

I'm kinda excited.....

but it's only a hopeful excited.

See, there's this baton event, Nationals, where I think it's like people from across the nation come and twirl. (way to use context clues, Saddle xD)

For once, I might get to go.

But I might not.

It depends.

There's only one other girl from my team who's considering going. My coach entered both of us, but not with our team. With a team a little more advanced than us. So we'll have to learn the new routine to be able to twirl there.

Also, it depends on if my family can afford it. =/ My mom knows how much I wanna go, but she said she has to find money for Nationals, my graduation party, and the laptop she promised me I'd get. So I might have to cross one of those things off the list....

I still really hope I can go....

(Sidenote: If I go, I'll get to ride in an airplane for a while which I'm excited about I haven't been in an airplane since 2005 xD And before that, it was 1999 and I was 3 so I don't remember that xD)

That'd be really awesome if you could go! ^^

Hopefully you'll be able to afford it. Sure, you might need to cross the laptop off your list, but that's something that you can always save up for yourself and buy later. This whole Nationals thing seems like a chance that doesn't come around very often.

*Nod* yeah, I would totally give up a laptop for this, but that's just me.

I actually think my mom would rather me get a laptop than have a graduation party. She says I'm gonna need a laptop for high school, and she keeps talking about possibly no graduation party, but she hasn't really said anything about no laptop

I have a laptop, but I probably have to use it for the rest of my school career.

I would give up the party! I'd just have a few friends over for a sleepover instead of having a giant celebration.

If I gave up the party, then I'd be sitting at home with my only friend over and a small cake. At least I'd see my family with a party. And I was gonna see if I could invite some people, but I'd have to ask.....
