Georgia
So I'm going to Georgia next week. Savannah, to be exact. I don't really know much about that area, though. So I was just wondering.....
Does anyone live around Savannah and/or traveled there and know any fun things to do there? Just so I can go to some places.
Oh, and Charleston, too, but I think that's in South Carolina xD
If this is in the wrong section, it can be moved xD
Thanks

Re: Georgia
I went to Savannah with my family when I was about 8. It's such a pretty, quaint little town, and it was really fun. They have a ton of cool restauraunts there - 'The Lady and Sons' was particularly good. And there was a candy shop! I can't remember what it was called, though.
Oh, and if you're interested in the supernatural and stuff like that, the town is claimed to be 'the most haunted in the US', so they have a lot of ghost tours there.
Anyway, have fun! :3

SAVANNAH! Woot! Savannah is awesome. I was actually like, a few hours away from there this past week. But, anyway, the Lady and Sons is sposed to be awesome, but while there, you need to take like, a day trip to Tybee Island. Its a small little island about an hour (I think) off the city, and it has abunch of stuff like Civil War sites and a fort from the Civil War and one from World War Two. And they have alot of just little shops and such. I had an amazing time down there.
Hope its fun!

- Spoiler:
- this restaurant is the 2nd most haunted restaurant in America, according to the travel channel. there are two ghosts... one is the ghost of the dog. some ppl feel it's breath on their leg while they are eating, and look down and see a little dog begging. when they ask the waiters about it, the waiters say that the restaurant doesn't have a dog. and when they look down the dog has disappeared.
the other ghost is not so innocent. the story is that there were two sisters that lived here... (it was a house before a restaurant) one day one of the sisters fell down the stairs and broke her neck. she died instantly. her younger sister saw this happen and went crazy. people walking down the street saw her talking to walls, talking to people who had died long ago, crazy things. at this time, the parents made the house into a restaurant. the girl became violent, throwing things at guests. they sent her to basically a phyco center. she died there. she never haunted the restaurant until the people who worked there (more recent) renovated it. now she hides in the bathroom. one lady who didn't believe in ghosts was in the bathroom. she locked the door. she was washing her hands and she looked up in the mirror and saw an old woman (in the same clothes the little girl had been dressed in) reaching for her. she screamed and turned around but the lady was gone. and the door was still locked. thinking she was imagining it, she turned back toward the mirror.the lady was there again, closer this time, reaching for her neck. the one who was washing her hands ran out screaming. this has happened to many people. also sometimes guests see her walking around the restaurant.

Re: Georgia
This can be closed, I've been home for a while now xD
But before it is: Noah, thank you for bringing up Tybee Island. I insisted we go there and it was beautiful!! We actually didn't do too much there, but I loved the beach!! Plus we went to a gift shop that was used for filming a scene in The Last Song so I found that cool
