Ending Dares

Cascading to the rocks
Mist enveloping time
Froth covering edges
Wind spraying it away

Steeply, steeply
Sprinkling softly
Soaking quickly
Carefully, carefully
Splashing

Jump
I dare you


Golden grains
Pouring together
Working as one
To defeat

Drowning air
Swarming victims
Pushing downward
Ending thumps

Dive
I dare you

Rushing quickly
Bright and silver
Endless noise
Many rails

Thundering wheels
Racing as one
Stopping too late
For the unlucky

Step forward
I dare you

Shut down thoughts
Trust me, have none
A second thought
You’re done
Without trying

Just
Jump
Dive
Step
I dare you
