Raindrops

Raindrops.
Pure, crystalline,
Raindrops
Are tumbling down
Pale, gentle slopes.
Tumbling down them.
Raindrops,
They run down, coming faster.
When will the slow?
Nobody knows.

Raindrops,
Always silent but swift.
Now they're rolling faster,
Down steep drops and gentle declines.
Soaring,
Beautiful and painful,
Lovely and horrible,
Just like light and dark.

Rain drops,
Coursing on in great rivers.
Flowing steadily on.
When will they be exhausted?
Finally, they come
To pool in a puddle.
Soaking deep
Into her blue jeans.

Raindrops,
Dear, sweet Angel your raindrops,
Stop them from rolling now.
Hold your head up.
Don't let them bother you,
Darling.
The storm will clear up.
Your sobbing,
Bitter thunder.
Lightning is your
Sharp whimpers.
And your tears are the raindrops.
Those horrible raindrops.
