In this little town
One I've always known
Lived here all my life
It's all ours in our own

Say something worth sharing
Within hours of time
The news will travel quickly
Your phone, her phone, mine

In this little town,
A murder once took place
Excitement filled the people
Fear rests on every face

Innocent as she was
Expected nothing from that drive
Someone must not have liked her
She didn't make it home alive

And soon, everyone knew
Gossip made it's way around
Around the frightened friends,
Around this little town

But I was not excited
No, I couldn't be
See, there was a problem
That girl - that girl was me

Ooh, I like this poem, Ave. Very Happy Particularly the second stanza.
I also like how in the last one, you say, "see, there was a problem" like you were in trouble or something, and it was a lot more than anyone expected. In some way I find that quite awesome. nod Then again, all your poetry is awesome!
