What Mattered the Most

I'm sorry for not commenting on other poems. I promise I'll do that in the morning or sometime tomorrow. But right now I've got a poem to post, a blog to write, and a heart to fix. It's really not all that easy.

So home is where the heart lies
That's what I've heard them say
But when all these memories die,
Will it always stay that way?

Trying to find the home I've lost,
Forever I've followed my heart
You knew our paths would cross
So did you enjoy tearing it apart?

Finding this heart is frustrating
Considering that it's all shattered
I knew the pain that you'd bring
Just now I found out it mattered
