Half-Blood Haven -- a vampire, werewolf and inbetween roleplay

Fantasy: Vampires, werewolves, half-bloods and a bad, bad wizard
Maturity: Romance, crushes, battles and occasional blood

The forest echoes beneath the feet as one ventures into it. A sound fills the otherwise dead air as an owl cries mournfully. Many others had taken a similar path never to return again. The leaves crunch loudly beneath the feet as suddenly a paw print is revealed; wolf paws. As if to confirm the discovery, a howl reverberates through the trees. An otherwise dark night is illuminated by the moonlight reflecting off of the pond close by. But another light fills the area and against the moist blackness sillouhetes a person. As if glowing on her own, a girl stands there. Her eyes glow amber against her snow white skin as she stands staring across the clearing. She sweeps a lock of her soft brown hair behind her ear with a laugh. A warm smile crosses her kind face and a pair of gleaming teeth are exposed beneath her rosey red lips. "We've been expecting you," she calls. Her voice is soft yet surprising loud. Another shape emerges from the clutching darkness; a handsome wolf. Its ink black fur make it almost impossible to pick out among the darkness but its warm and kind black eyes protrude loudly. "The others will want to meet you," the pale girl whispers again and turns to lead. Is it a trap? What's going to happen? The wolf blinks then adds before following after, "I'd come along if I were you."



Full-Blood/ Half-Blood:

1. Full-Bloods - They are a vampire or werewolf completely. At full-moon they turn into their creature. Each are stronger, faster and smarter than the average human person. Along with their special abilities they have an individual power. Since they aren't completely human they don't age as so. While they don't live forever, they age one year for every five years. (abbreviated as FB)

• Werewolves - At full-moon they become completely wolf until the moon changes phases. Even during the day time of full-moon they're still wolves. The fur colours can range from anything between black to aquamarine. The leader (Alpha) can read all pack members' minds and can talk into them. The second-in-command (Beta) can do the same except they can't read Alpha's mind. As a wolf and a human they have very warm bodies and heal incredibly fast. Like vampires they have a venom-like fluid which can be used to turn other humans or half-bloods into vampires. Also they have a mild blood lust during full-moon but it's easy to control. After full-moon they turn back into a completely normal human person.
  
• Vampires - At full-moon they become increidbly beautiful creatures with pearl white fangs. During full-moon they have nearly incontrolable blood lusts and must keep away from humans during that time. The week of full-moon they can turn into bats and fly around. Unlike popular belief, they can be in sunlight without any side-effects. Also garlic doesn't hurt them in the least. In addition, they can't be killed by a stake to the heart. Like legend tells, they have venom which is used to turn others into vampires as well. During full-moon week, their eyes are either an amber, red or black depnding on hunger. Black means very incontrolable thirst, red means bad thirst adn amber means controlled. After full-moon they become almost completely human. Their fangs stay the same size, they still have their skin darkens slightly, the blood lust is gone and they can't turn into a bat anymore.
  

2. Half-Bloods - These are the children of a vamprie or werewolf (FB FB; H FB; HB FB; or HB HB). They're sort of in the middle. They take the appearance of a human even during full-moon but they are slightly smarter, faster and stroner than humans but not as much as Full-Bloods. Like Full-Bloods they have a unique power as well. (abbreviated HB)

• Werewolf - Half-Bloods are completely human but they can turn into their wolf counter-part. As wolves though, they lack the Full-Blood venom and blood lust. They also heal faster and are warmer than normal humans but not as much as Full-Bloods.
  
• Vampires - Half-Bloods are completely human in nature. They can't turn into a vampire or a bat but they have the power. Though, the are faster and stronger than werewolf half-bloods.
  

Rules (gotta have em!)

1. Follow all TWIG rping rules

2. No full out blood or gore. I mean it. I know vampires and werewolves hunt but please keep it to something like "Annabelle sprang forward, sunk her fangs in and in a moment was content." Please no vivid details

3. No wars or battles without my consent

4. There is no vampire-werewolves. Now, I might eventually put that as an potion but at this moment, please don't make them

5. Post .begin the revolt. with your form if you've read the rules

6. No perfect people

7. I will allow you to make bad guys who help the Dark Wizard

8. Electronics won't help you much here. There are iPods and mp3s but contraptions such as cellphones and laptops are useless.

9. Have a whole lot of fun!!



Thing you'll need to know

1. They are harbouring the half-bloods and full-bloods from the Dark Wizard. Currently he's a building threat to all hybrids (HBs)

2. Half-Bloods and Full-Bloods are under a government called the Blood Council. They came up with the refuge to harbour all half-bloods

3. The Half-Blood Haven is a camp type of place where Full-Bloods and Half-Bloods alike train and stay at

4. There are good and bad vampires and werewolves; don't trust just anyone







How the Haven is Set up

• Apartments -- there are buildings with apartments in them which the people can stay. The people in charge are strict about boys and girls sharing dorms; not unless they're family
  
• Mess Hall -- think of it as the Great Hall. Rows and rows of table line the massive building and the chefs cook to your every whim and wish. (Seriously though, they love to cook anything!)
  
• Library -- Okay, if you thought the Mess Hall was huge, you ain't seen nothing yet! This building is five stories tall and every floor has millions of books. It's a great place for research and a nice palce to relax
  
• Recreation Hall -- a huge buildings with an indoor pool, game room. Outside they have a tennis and basketball court
  
• Training Hall -- A large auditorium used to train in fighting and such. Usually it's taught on hand-to-hand combat but still such things as sword fighting and archery are taught
  
• Field -- a large grassy area where almost anything can happen. There's not a lot of use for it besides a hang-out spot. Occasional matches have been held there but not all that often
  
• The Hall -- Lastly the hall is where many Officals stay. A lot of times various people from the Blood Council come to stay there. One of the rooms is also an office wing.
  

Beyond the Haven

• Pack Black - A werewolf pack run by Sirius Black. His Beta is Taylor Padfoot and the pack is very traditional. They have much to hold against the vampires but will help if they're forced to.
  
• Pack Chain - A pack that resides fully at the haven, and accepts everyone for who they are, vampire or werewolf alike. Lead by Logan Chain.
  
• Pack Lupin - This pack is very open to agreement and is very friendly with the half-bloods whether they're vampire of werewolf.
  

The packs are a seperate part of the Haven but still part of it. Only wolves live in it and humans live at the Haven. So in one part of another all packs are forced to live at the Haven unless they're always wolves.

Name: Tace 'Tacie' Wormtail
Age: 13
Description: Tace is very silent. It's for two reasons: One, she has trust issues, and two, she's actually very shy. She is sweet, and funny, once you get to know her. She can be a bit mysterious and dark, when she's in one of her 'moods'
Tace has soft brown hair, that reaches a bit past her shoulders, and she has really pale skin. It's not only because she's a Half-Blood, it's because she was just born that way. She stands at about 5"3, and has a really slim and almost fragile looking frame. She has dark blue eyes, and slightly full, pink lips.

Name: Logan Chain
Age: 16
Description: Logan has dark, dark black hair that usually can be styled spiked up, but everynow and then, he'll have it in a messy shag. His skin is slightly pale for a werewolf, but he has that same tan tint to it, along with the warm touch. He has two scars, one on his stomach and side, the other on his arm that are visible, but have paled out. His eyes don't reveal hsi feelings that much, and they are a dull brown color like dried, dark, mud. He comes around the hiegth of 5'5 1/2, and is actually skinny.
As a wolf, Logan is pure black with a brown spot over each still dull brown eyes. The scars are still visble in wolf-form as well. He is a slender wolf, and from toes to shoulder stands about 3 1/2. Yes, he is a BIG wolf.
Logan is very sarcastic, and loves to fool around with people, though he can be very caring at times. Also, he is abit thick when it comes to some things, and stubborn.

Power: Logan is telepathic,meaning he can speak into someone's mine, even as a human.
History: Logan preffers not to talk about it, and I don't blame him.

Description: Noah has bronze colored hair that he usually has in a semi-spiked form, some of it hanging on his forehead. His skin is pale, almost a cream-white color, with a few freckles here and there. Noah wears glasses, but usually has contacts instead. At first glance his eyes might seem blue, but if you look, they are blue grey with flecks of brown in them, one eye having a green tint to it. He is short, about 5'4 1/2, and he isn't that muscular either.
Noah is a sweet boy who loves to read, write, and draw. He really loves romantic stuff, though he has yet to find that 'special one'. Or atleast, so he thinks.

Description: Desmond has black hair that hangs down infront of his eyes in an almost shag. His eyes are large, wide, and a honey brown color with a rim of darker brown around the edges. He is a skinny boy, so skinny you can count his ribs, and can constantly be found dressing in black. His skin is paper white, it just comes naturally, and even if he wasn't a half-blood, it still would be.
Desmond is a very smart boy, who would rather bury hismelf in books then talk to someone. He doesn't tend to fight his own battles, and can be frightened very easily. But he is very sweet..

Usually, she will have it held up in a pony-tail, but on occasion she'll have it down, so that its flowing around her shoulders. Her skin is pearly white with no flaws, blemish, zip. She looks like she could be a fairy, because she is short, about 4'11 1/2, and very fragile looking. Don't let this fool you though. Hope can beat up any one who chanlenges her, and will to. Her eyes are a striking teal color.
Hope's wolf form when she does change is a black color with a blonde tipped tail, blond tipped ears, and the same large teal eyes.
Hope is a tough girl, and would never be caught dead wearing a dress. She does martial arts, knows how to use many weapons, and will take down any boy who says she is a wimp. She is smart, however, and very agile.
Breed: Werewolf

Power: Hope has abnormal strength and agiliaty, even for a half-blood.
History: Hope grew up with a brother and half sister, her parents later being murdered, causing her brother to change, leaving her alone because her sister was the only one not a half-blood, and Hope's grandmom didn't want her, only Jina.

Hunter stared up at the full-moon with a faint smile. It probably wasn't the safest thing to be doing late at night but it was the danger itself which gave him the trush.
