Merry's Matching Manuscripts [Have you read this book?]
Welcome to...
Merry's Matching Manuscripts!!
So pretty much I am going to keep updating this post saying what book I am reading at the time and you can post if you have read it or not and if you have read the book than post what you thought about it and we can discuss it.
UPDATE! : New feature! OK so now I am going to post a review of the last few books I have read and keep switching them out every time I finish a book.
So lets start posting. The book I am reading and just read is...
Book: I don't know what to read. While I figure it out I will just read a Nancy Drew. xD
Last Books:
Double Identity - Margaret Peterson Haddix It was really good but kinda freaky at parts. xD

I just finished Talent. It was OK. Not really my style. They were too dramatic. I was reading it last night. xD

The Penderwicks is SUCH a cute and fun series - I have read both and thought they were a really fun and quick read - made me want to go out and have some adventures
Also, I've read Talent, and the second, Almost Famous. Both were pretty good, a nice poolside book, but not very deep.

I read it when I was younger - The Westing Game - and didn't really like it. xD I might think differently if I read it now, though.

Ooh, The Westing Game [by Ellen Raskin]! I've read that two or three times. Still love the book for some reason...
Plus I got to watch the movie in 5th Grade. It was... Weird. And crappy like every other movie-after-book. xP

I. Loved. That. Book! I read it in fifth grade, but it's fantastic! I can't believe I haven't re-read it! Omg!
Re: Merry's Matching Manuscripts [Have you read this book?]
xD Lol, wow . . . that's about when I read it, too! Fifth or sixth grade . . . *TWINS!* Lol, maybe I should reread it. xD Just for the sake of possibly enjoying it now.

Re: Merry's Matching Manuscripts [Have you read this book?]
Can I make a few reccomendations for this?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series, which includes:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (Surprisingly enough!)
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams
Life, the Universe and Everything by Douglas Adams
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish by Douglas Adams
Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams
And Another Thing... by Eoin Colfer
(If you're wondering why the last in the series is by a different author, Douglas Adams had always intended to write a sixth but died before he got the chance. He left it up to his widow to decide who will write the continuation, and thank goodness his widow chose Eoin Colfer)
Also of interest:
Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams
The Long and Dark Tea-Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams
The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett
The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown
I Am America (And So Can You) by Stephen Colbert
Pretty much anything by David Sedaris
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Watership Down by Richard Adams
Dune by Frank Herbert (Sequels didn't amount to much, though)
Gregor the Overlander (and all four of its sequels) by Suzanne Collins
And why not try my novella To Flee or Not to Be?

Gregor the Overlander? My little brother loves those! They don't look too bad to me, either, judging just by the length. xD
Re: Merry's Matching Manuscripts [Have you read this book?]
GtO is a series with a solid, interesting plot, well developed characters and firm narration.
