Can you keep a secret?
Maturity; Kissing, boyfriend - girlfriend, possibly marrage, spies, some weapons such as guns
Fantasy; Mermaids, Werewolves, vampires, references to mummies, etc.
Prologue
"John?" Felicity Stone asked, looking at her husband. "Whats that noise..?" In the distance..a thump thump thump could be heared "I'm sure its nothing Felicity" Replied to deep, scratchy voice of John Stone. John was a burly man, with large muscles and short cropped brown hair. He had a faint beard set on his strong jaw, and right now he was sitting in a chair reading the newspaper.
"Are you sure?" Felicty asked. She was a dainity woman, with pixie like features and hair the color of straw.
The thumping got louder..and it soon woke up the baby in the next room. But before John could answer, or Felicty could reach her son, the door was bust down..causing Felicty to scream.

Chapter I
IN WRITING
"STONEEE! TIME FOR BREAKFASST!" Came the annoying sound as I felt a wieght land right on my stomach
"Gahh, Jefferson! Can't you wake me up, like, peacefully?" As asked, shoving the tiny boy off onto the wooden floors of our dorm-like room
"Nope" He said with a smile as he skipped out of the room.
Maybe I should explain, starting with the basics. My name is Declan Stone, but most everyone calls me Stone. My dad was killed in a forest fire when I was little, and my mom died soon after from cancer, causing me to live in this rat hole.
Ahh, yes, the rat hole, what is it you migth ask? Its old, creepy orphanage that I live in with 4 other boys, the oldest being Scar, at the age of 17, and the youngest Jefferson, at the age of 9. Me? I'm stuck in the middle. 13. People say I act alot older though, which is good..I guess.
Anyway, I rolled out of bed, looking into the mirror. My bright blonde hair hung loosly around me in a messy look, and my dark brown eyes still had a sleepy look to them. That might have been because I was up until 4 last night, and it was now..seven. Dang. Only three ours of sleep. Oh well.
With that, I walked out of the room, not caring at all if I was still in my pajamas.

Good job!! x3 Just a suggestion, you may want to spell the numbers out instead of putting the numeral; it kinda interrupts the flow a little the way you have it.
