I've gone crazy, haven't I?

I've decided to do 110K in November. That's right. One hundred and ten thousand words. Yes.
That proves that I'm crazy. You see, I decided to plan how much I'd write. I decided on 3000 words on week days and 4000 on weekends, holidays, and half days. And that made 110,000 words in November, in my planner.
My problem isn't how much - it's that my story is horrible and shallow and I want to scrap it but there's only like 2 and a half weeks until nano starts... Argh!

Anyone joining me on an over 100K quest?

And, no I don't think I'm joining.
I can't stick to a story, I always get bored of it.
The most pages I have gotten to are 29 pages. Very Happy

How can you find out how many words you have without counting them all?
I've always been curious about that, or is it not even possible? Very Happy

I just click on the word count in my word processor. Smile

Good idea, Sophie. I'm working on this program, StorYBook, and it's really good. You can plan everything really well.

Well, here's my way of thinking: I am assuming you are a year or two older than I, have much greater writing skills than myself, and have a good amount of plot-lines to enter into your book... Of whatever it may be about. nod

Of my age, that would be, aka, crazy. But if I were thirteen with much more time for writing than I do now, I might try the same thing.

Either way, seeing you've already planned this out so much, I bet your story will turn out great, whether big or gargantuan! smiley

It doesn't matter even if the story does suck. It's just about writing; nobody ever said you have to like or even save the stuff you write over Nano, anyway. Smile

It's all about the writing.

Anyway, that's a delicious goal! cheesy

I have a big one too, although, it's not really the total I'm aiming for; it's the daily word count. Which would be at least 10k a day, and hopefully a lot more on weekends. (Which, altogether, would give me 300,000 words at the least. xD)
