Her name is a combination of two words known to mean Earth in some shape or form: Gaia, and Terra. Actually, Gaia was the Goddess of Earth, I think.

Taltzerro-

I've been planning this role-play, and a place in there is Talterra Lumina. I stole the "Talt" and put it in the beginning of his name. Zerro is just a transfer from the O to the E in Zorro.

I once heard this name Loretta. Since this is an aqua creature, I thought of words that were related to aqua. I came up with "Flow" and "Wet." I randomly decided to change it to fluo instead of flow, and then the "retta" turned into "wetta!"

Alright, so I cheated again. I went to this one site I go to for some Latin translations, and looked up "shine" and "stone." Shine could either be mico or fulgeo. Stone was silex silicis. I didn't want to use three words for a name, so I had to choose between Silex or Silicis. Originally, the name was Micosilexa, but then I realized he was a boy, so I got rid of the a--but that didn't look right. I changed it again, and voila.

Her name was Spyra, but she became a Void Fox... So I was going to change her name to Cynder, but I didn't want to make it totally based off of an awesome video game trilogy. So I remembered one time when I wanted to name a stuffed animal I'd just gotten Cynder, and my dad said, "What's her middle name, Ella?" So I got rid of Cynder's e and put -ella as a suffix to Cyndr.

This was based off of my crush's special name in Spanish [Guillermo [ghee•yayr•moh]. I thought it sounded like a swampy kitty's name, but I wanted to make it sound sort of... Different. So I chanted mo to ios. grin
