My Secret Love Unknown {Edited!}

I was sitting here, bored, thinking, and decided to make another attempt at songwriting (I've done so before, but I never thought of them as quality).
I have a lot of spill-out-whatever-comes-to-mind planning that will, hopefully, lead me to a song at some point.
Inspiration is... previous events of someone I know. Yeah.
Okay, now I've started a draft of what the song could be.
VERSE 1:
I didn’t even see it comin’
It hit me like a strike of lightnin’
All it took you was one hit
And with one blow you did it
The possibility never crossed my mind
That somebody else would be the love you’d find
But questions cross by me all the time
I wonder if I’ll find their answers why
CHORUS:
When I see you holding her
Why does it feel so wrong
It could never be me
So why do I keep holding on
When I know you’ve chosen her
Over me

Sometimes I wonder if you knew
If you ever even had a clue
What I've been doing all these years:

But I guess outer beauty beats the true kind
But could you still give me the answers why

- Alright, so I found out about him. It was bound to happen anyway. His choice is one of the beauties of the school, whether highly recognized as one or not. Me, well, I’m just a weirdo. What athletic wonder would love me? The weird thing is, I’m popular—well, known—and yet not popular at the same time. I guess I’m just a very talented nerd.
Yet, I deserve so much more, don’t I? I have so much to offer, so much to give! I try, but those who have nothing but cheerleading abilities and snotty words and “better-looking” faces always get more attention. Why? Is it because their pretty? Is it because they dare to break the rules and only get known for bullying people and getting suspension? Sure, I plan a bunch of stuff. But I don’t act.
That crush was pointless, anyway. I can’t help but continue on with it, though. It’s like I’m holding onto him invisibly, but more like a Sticky Note: I’ll stick on forever, even when loose. Sometimes I want to let go, but I don’t—or I can’t.
Or maybe it’s just ‘cause I’m not acting…
Maybe this time I will act. I’ll do something about it. ‘Cause I had put up my hopes and believed that maybe, just maybe, he felt something for me too. (Why does this sound like a mixture of Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler songs?)
But I love him so. I don’t want to hurt him. Sure, maybe tease him a little, but not so far as to make it hurt. So he likes her. I don’t want to hurt him because of that. Blue eyes, blonde hair…
Yes. She’s perfect. That’s only what everyone wishes they could be. And I’ve never wanted it before, but when I think about him…. I just have to be. It’d be useless anyway, though, wouldn’t it?
Then again, how many of those girls that “truly love” him would be writing about him? Except, mine is in despair. It makes me want to write a song… H’yeah, how many girls would do that? One. Me.

Well, I, being my eavesdropping self, overheard in Language Arts last year that he plays bass (like, the really low guitar, not the cello-like thing).
And yeah, you can't give up hope...
