I know!
You take the eraser, right click it. There should be an option called the "magic eraser." Make sure "contiguous" is off, then click the color. (You might wanna switch the tolerance to 0, too.)
If you're using anti-aliased tools (the brush, paint bucket with anti-aliased turned on, etc.) You're probably just better off putting what you want to get rid of on a separate layer.
