Light & Dark

Maturity; Er...Idk, kinda between none and medium

Fantasy; A little, kind of depending on how you veiw it

Light & Dark

The winds of change are whipped to a frenzy,
Things just aren't the same.
Good times are slowly melting,
Giving way to bad.
Black tendrils crawl across
Feilds of light.
The dark side of the moon hasn't ever been colder.
Times are changing slowly,
Things are getting worse.
Where's the triumph and joy?
Where's the white and clear?
Who put this regret and anger,
Black and murky here?
No answers are ever clear.
Slowly hearts are spitting,
Their strings break so easily.
Darkness is a consuming thing,
And it wants its revenge
For the years it's been supressed.
But why shouldn't it have its fair share?
Why must good always prevail?
Darkness doesn't get to shine,
It always hides in nooks and crannies
Where everyone fears to travel.
They think they are safe,
They think it lies idle, doing nothing...
But they need to think again.
It's slowly chipping away the quoin of society,
Ending things eventually,
Dragging it out painfully.
When, do you ask, will this happen?
When will it really come to an end,
Not just figuratively?
Well, dear faithful reader,
Even I do not know...
