It was a while later. Now, I was heavily pregnant, and knowing that the time would come any day, I spent my time resting for that moment.

Alice turned to Liz. "Liz? Are you OK?" She asked, crawling to the edge of the cage closest to Liz.

"No...I think it's time," I panted, curling up, breathing heavily.

"Johnathon! Johnathon!!" Alice shouted at Johnathon in hopes to get him to notice.

Jonathan opened his eyes. "W-what's wrong?" he mumbled.

"It's time!!" Alice almost screamed.

"Time...time! Oh crap!" he howled, sitting up suddenly and racing to my side.
----[Timeskip to after birth]----
I held a tiny boy in my arms, and beside me, Jonathan held a girl. Two. That was an almost unheard of phenomenon here in the Facility. The boy was named Flame, and the girl was Rosibelle.

Jonathan was beaming in pride for the two newborns, a heavy grin on his face. I smiled and stroked Flame's flame-red hair back.

Alice glanced at the door, then at the kids. Her facial features saddened, but she kept quiet.

One of the breeders came through and took a small glance at the two kids. He wrote something down on a peice of paper then left.

Alice held her breath when the breeder came. "Atleast they're healthy, right?" She said with a small smile.

I nodded. "Yeah. It could have been worse..." I shivered, remembering some of the babies I'd seen die a few minutes after birth, or worse-been killed by the Exterminators.
