My Lifelong Resolution

Ok, so I came up with this idea about a week ago in French class. I thought of a good storyline and everything and decided to give it a try. The Title, My lifelong resolution, may not be the ending title. but who knows? this is my first real kind of writing, so I'm not like good at it or anything, so don't hate! xD it's written like a Diary, with different Journal entries.
Fantasy: None!
Maturity: Kissing, dating. Not much more.

Ok, so… Hi. My name is Sam. My dad gave me this journal for Christmas, and he’s expecting me to write in it, so…. Hi. I don’t really know what to write. This is so pointless. I mean, I don’t even need this! It’s not like I’m gonna end up writing my whole life in these pages! But yeah, I gotta at least write in it once. So here you go dad! You happy now?

Yeah, I like the diaries too there just great! I think it's because (well for me) there is only really one MC and in a diary story you can say things as a different person because it's from the MC's perspective, so you get a really good feel of the MC's personality.

Excellent! I really like it when things are written in a Journal entry type thing, because you really get a handle on the main character, and you can tell where they stumble, what their fears are. 
Makes for a very interesting story. Can't wait to hear more.
