Buddy and Company
Maturity: None
Fantasy: Talking cats and dogs
First Scene: Once upon a time in New York
{Cue opening music. Title appears on screen. The camera zooms in to New York. Cars are speeding by and people are walking.}
Male Singer:
Now it's always once upon a time
In New York City
It's a big old
Bad old tough old town
It's true
But beginnings
Are contagious there
They're always
settin' stages there
They're always
turnin' pages there for you
{Close in on a box full of puppies.}
Ain't it great the way
it all begins in New York City
Right away
you're makin' time
And makin' friends
{The puppies are whining.}
- No one cares
where you were yesterday
- {A few children giggle as they pick out puppies.}
If they pick you out
you're on your way
To a once upon a time
{A scruffy black puppy tumbles away, then runs back and pushes between his siblings.}
That never ends
So, Buddy
don't be shy
Get out there
and go and try
Believin' that
you're the guy {Puppies are asleep; one kicks its foot}
They're dyin' to see
'Cause a dream's no crime
Now once upon a time
- {People are chatting}
- Once upon a time in New York City
{Time skip to night. It is raining.}
If it's always
once upon a time in New York City
- [Thunderclap]
- Why does nightfall find ya
feelin' so alone
How could anyone
stay starry-eyed
{The scruffy pup flinches from the rain, and then looks up.}
When it's rainin'
cats and dogs outside
{Close up on the rain}
And the rain it says
"Now you're on your own"
{The pup barks at a passing man.}
{He whimpers and presses against the side of the box, causing water to flood in and crush the box. He howls in fear as he is almost swept under a culvert.}
So, Buddy
don't be scared
Though yesterday
no one cared
{He manages to climb up on the sidewalk and pants.}
They're gettin'
your place prepared
Where you wanna be
{A car drives by, getting him soaking wet.}
Keep your dream alive
Dreamin' is still
how the strong survive
Once upon a time
in New York City
{He runs into an alley. Older, bigger dogs start to growl.}
{They chase him, barking, driving him over a fence and into a construction site.}
Keep your dream alive {He crawls under the space between a tire and a car.}
Dreamin' is still
how the strong survive
- {Thunderclap, the pup flinches, and then curls up, tail flicking over his nose.}
- Once upon a time in New York City
Keep your dream alive
Dreamin’ is still
how the strong survive {He licks his forelegs once.}
Once upon a time
in New York City
And it's always
once upon a time
In New York City {He falls asleep.}

Re: Buddy and Company
You're welcome! ^^ Lol, I really miss it suddenly. xD I haven't watched it in a few years.
Re: Buddy and Company
They have parts, like part one, part two, etc. since Youtube videos only go up to ten minutes per video.
Re: Buddy and Company
Alright, good. Meantime, I'm still stuck without adding anything because the script is at my grandma's house...
