Role-playing

I just had some questions.

1: If we start a roleplay and we can't continue anymore on it, can we delete it? Or do we have to stick with it till everyone is gone?

2: Where do we keep the characters? Offsite, or is their a place that most people put them?

3: I've never roleplayed on here, so if you have any tips that would be loved. I roleplay mostly on neopets, but I feel it can be censored here to. And I like that you can set maturity, can't do that on neopets. Yes, I have an itch!!!

1. If you can't continue, you can give it to one of your members, or ask them if they would like it continued or not. Put a poll up. If you get more no's, then close it. More yes's, give it to another member.

2. Keep the characters? Like a list? There is a spot for that at the bottom of the roleplaying section.

3. Tips: Grammar, spelling, punctuation, font, color, boldness, itlaics, underlining, strikeouts. Some of these seem more....attractive to read, and some will gain you more rep for being a good roleplayer. An example of a bad roleplay:

i wnt 2 the store. i buyed cheese.

Good role-play:

I went to the store. I bought cheese.

Even better RP:

I walked down the gray, boring sidewalk to the store, stepping over the cracks. I was superstitious, and didn't want to break my Momma's back. I entered the Health Store, and searched through the many aisles for Gouda cheese. I passed one aisle, and spotted the word 'cheese' on a sign. I hurried into the aisle, trying to quickly find cheese. I found it and rushed to cashier #12, my favorite. When I reached the cashier, I handed her money. She put the cheese into a plastic bag and handed it to me. I thanked her and grabbed my change. I walked out of the store and towards my house.

See the difference? Try to be descriptive, and try to describe what their seeing instead of just stating it, like this:

He had a knife.

Try and do this:

My eyes traveled down the psycho's attire until it reached his hands. There was a long, curved, blood splattered blade in his fingertips. I screamed.

Thanks! Yes, I know to be literate it's a big thing on neopets. Well, it's an important thing at some guilds on neopets. Most guild I have owned or been in. I've learned to be literate and descriptive. Thanks for everything! I'm thinking of making a plot for a new roleplay. Or, if it was okay with you, I might join your board. I saw it just a second ago, I thought about joining. I might, if it's okay with you, don't know yet.

I've made a few, like The Magical Aquarium, VvsW, Messed-Up Land(LOL), and a few others, but not a pet-shop.

Yes, the Magical Aquarium would be what I was talking about. Sorry, I forgot what you called it. Memory loss, I guess. By the way= Love Ryuk!!! I wanted my new plot to be a bit inspired by death note. It wouldn't have a death note in it, just maybe some inspiration. I've yet to finish the series, almost there though.
