Prompts Section?

Probably as a subforum to the Writing Help & Resources section, with a few different variations of prompts and exercises. For example (basically threads that would likely be stickied):

One/Two Word Prompts
Sentence Prompts
Paragraph Prompts

Writing Exercises


It's not much, but it could quickly get pretty large if everyone pitched in and helped develop it.

I believe these were in the Nanowrimo section during Nano, but I love this idea!

Hmm, I have a question. What sort of thing could people post in that section as relates to individual threads? Because if those four are the only threads that would be put up, then it might be better just to have them in one of the other sections. I do think it's a good idea, though, so if I could get a better idea of how you're picturing this to work, we might be able to do it.

Well, while I had those four specifically in mind, I was also thinking the individual threads could also be used to discuss ideas and the like. Kind of like authors bouncing them back and forth in person, except with the entire community. For people who don't plan on doing an entire chain of things, they could make individual threads for their prompt ideas if they feel the need to do so.

Of course, I'm open to suggestions if anyone else has something in mind to add.

Ah, okay! I do think that would work, then. I've brought it up for discussion with the mods.
