Peter: I tried swinging my legs up, but that made the branch bounce. "I can't!"

Peter: I tried swinging again. There was no branch below me I could jump on to. Only the one I was holding. I felt tears fill my eyes as I realized I was stuck. "Gonna fall!"

Adam: "No you're not," I scoffed. "Just don't let go."

Peter: I held tightly, but my hands were starting to hurt. I looked down again. The ground was really, really far away. I heard a small snapping noise and saw the branch beginning to break. I whimpered. "Adam! Branch!"

Adam: "What about it?" I asked, not noticing the crack.

Peter: "It broke! Help!" I was scared, and I could feel myself begin to cry.

Adam: "No it didn't, silly. It's still attached, see?" I pointed at the place where the branch attached to the trunk.

Peter: I heard the branch snap a little more and gripped tighter. "Help me!"

Adam: "All right," I grumbled, starting to slowly climb back down towards him. "Scaredy cat."

Peter: I hoped Adam would hurry up. I didn't want to fall. I looked down again. I'd be a pancake if I fell from here.

Adam: I climbed onto the branch, not realizing that it was breaking.

Adam: "For what?"

Peter: "Branch!" The branch suddenly snapped, causing me to fall. I fell for a while, but quickly grabbed another one, scraping my arms and legs in the process. I looked down again. I was closer to the ground, but still kind of high up. Looking down made me dizzy and I lost grip on the branch. I fell to the ground then everything went dark.....

((*cue dramatic music*

I had him fall to a lower branch first so he wouldn't die nod

Allison: I heard screaming and ran outside. "What's going on?"

Adam: "Peter fell!" I exclaimed, pointing.

Allison: All that ran through my mind was panic. "How did he fall? From where?" I shouted as I ran over to the scene of the accident. I got on my knees and gently shook Peter's small shoulders. "Peter! Peter! Can you hear me?" I got no response so I turned back to Adam. "How long ago did he fall? Where did he fall from?"

Adam: "Just now. He fell from there-" I pointed at the first branch "-to there-" I pointed to the second "-to there." I pointed to where he was now.

Allison: My eyes widened. He had had a decently long fall. I took out my cell phone and quickly dialed 911. When I got an answer, I explained the situation. The person on the other end said, "Ok, we'll send an ambulance over right away." Next, I had to call Peter's parents. Guilt filled me as I dialed the number. When his mom answered, I had to explain the situation. The ambulance had arrived by the time I finished, and I apologized to her about a million times as I led Adam into the truck. We drove away, sirens wailing. I never took my tear filled eyes off Peter.

Adam: I wasn't even excited about riding in the ambulance. I stuck close to Allison, my eyes on the ground.

Allison: Tears gently started streaming down my face as the ambulance sped down the road. I watched them begin to hook Peter up to IVs until I couldn't take it anymore. I put my hands on Adam's shoulders and closed my eyes, wishing this was all just a dream.

((How far should we have this go on for? Just wondering))

Allison: Please be ok, please be ok....I silently prayed over and over; my mind sounded like a track on repeat. If anything happened.....no, I couldn't think that. But anything that happened to him would all be my fault. I should have watched him and Adam more. I should have gone outside with them. I should have told them to watch TV. There's so much I should have and could have done, but I didn't.....Please be ok, please be ok, please be ok....
