Why isn't my Adoptable an adult...?

Meeko has 72 clicks, but he isn't an adult. He used to be; but the we was set back into a hatchling or whatever he is now. Help, please?

*raises hand* Meeko is the raccoon, right? If so, he looks like an adult to me. There's a stage before it that you might have skipped, because my raccoons skipped straight to adult (either that or I just missed the levelup).

Wait, is the adult-stage where he is sitting looking up, or where you see a side-view of him laying down? Because to me he looks like he is facing left, laying down(I thought that was the hatchling but I may be wrong?)

Yeah, the laying down one is adault :3
