Today I Won't Write

I need inspiration
I don't know what to say
I want to write a poem
But words won't come today

I truly believe
When words won't come
You just shouldn't write
'Cause it might come out dumb

And so I've decided
To just take a break
I'll do something else
'Till tomorrow when I wake

It's really is too bad though
I really wanted to write
But if the words aren't there
I guess that's alright

And so I'll move on
And try to forget
About writing a poem
Because I can't just yet

Three hours later
I thought I had something
So I went and sat down
But when I started to write
I just had to frown

The words come out wrong
This poem was terrible
It was awful to read
It was almost unbearable

And so today
I guess I won't write
It's not the end of the world
I'll live through this fight

Haha, so true to life. It seems like whenever I want to write, I can't. Then in the middle of the night when I have no notebook or pencil, a whole song comes to me. O.e Anyways, awesome poem!

Thanks, Forry! Yeah I really wanted to write, but I had nothing to write about, so I wrote about having nothing to write about. Lol. The funny thing is that I wrote four more poems that night.

Successful night, I'd say.
