Are you lying? I'm Kylie.

In such a small world of the Renaissance, I was born into being a vampire. I could not help it, but I fed on 50 humans. Most died instantly, some went into vampire mode. I am ashamed of myself. At River Time, it's different. I feel like I am not the only vampire with multiple personalities. It makes me feel like Im alive again. But sometimes, I just cannot stand how it's a school. How can I trust anyone here? I will never know.

Who should I murder? I'm Tyler.

Have you heard the saying 'Life passes within a blink'? Well, tis' true. Being an immortal child of Zeus is difficult. Your confused on which God or Goddess likes you. Nobody understands how you feel. Let alone what you go through. I never see my father anymore because of this school. I don't know the location of Mount Olympus or anything. River Time makes my life horrible. I shouldn't be here.

Don't make a bad fashion statement. I'm Eve.

Eve's the name, fashion is the game. I am the top designer in the world. Make one mistake with fashion and I'll have you fired in a heartbeat. You see, I am still in high school. My designing started back in the 6th grade. A talent agent saw my work and declared I was going to be the best designer ever. This is the one that I am good at. Oh, did I mention that I shape-shift? I dislike it, but it happens whenever I am angered.

KRISTOFER JOHN GARCIA
senior - eighteen, male
To be completely honest, Kris and his sister and polar opposites.
He's not a social outcast or anything like that, but he doesn't
care as much as his sister does about climbing to the top. He's
protective of his younger sister and really doesn't enjoy when
she goes to all these parties, though nevertheless, he lets her
go. As long as she doesn't come home completely drunk in the
middle of the night with a man twice her age, he's fine with it.
Worried, but okay with it. He plays sports - soccer and football
- and runs track, and he generally gets good grades, though he
doesn't care all that much about school. What really matters to
him is his music; he plays guitar, sings, and likes to write songs
in his free time. It would be his dream to get signed at one point,
but he's sure that that's impossible. He likes to keep to himself,
and doesn't like large crowds of people. However, that doesn't
mean he's not social, and he can actually be a really friendly
person, if you get to know him.

SECRET } Kris is a blood demon; by day, he's perfectly
normal. But by midnight, he turns into something so evil and
demonic that, well... 'nuff said. It's actually
why he doesn't go out partying.

BROOKLYN ROSE GARCIA
junior - seventeen, female
Brook, as she is often called, loves to be the center of attention.
To put it simply, she'll do whatever it takes to be at the top. She
has never been one of those "good-yet-oh-so-popular" girls, but
she has her ways of climbing up the social ladder. She always likes
to go to the hottest party and loves to know the latest gossip. She
can't be too easily trusted - you tell her that you're dating a senior
and soon the whole school will believe that you've been hooking up
with your science teacher -, though she can be a fairly nice person.
You just have to get on her good side and make sure not to tick her
off. One thing that she loves to do, as mentioned before, it party. and
though she's underage, she's not afraid of drinking and will give in to
peer pressure fairly easily. She doesn't have a probelm with it, though,
and has never regretted anything that she has ever done at a party.

SECRET } Brooke shares a past with Kris. She was something
similar to a blood demon, called a "night demon", which means that
instead of sucking their blood, she would only murder people. The
curse was lifted by a man that they met in east Russia, though, under
one condition; she would do him a favor later in life. She didn't know
what it was, and she assumed it couldn't be anything too bad. She
wears chain-like bracelets around her wrists so that he knows where
she is, and when the time comes, he'll visit her again and tell her
what he needs her to do.

MASON PETER DUNN
senior - seventeen, male
Though friends with Kristofer, he isn't like him in the slightest. Actually,
they might be considered polar opposites, just like him and his sister.
He's more like his other friend, Brooke - Kris' sister. He's not afraid to
admit that he loves partying. It's probably safe to say that he might
take it too far sometimes. Though he may feel bad about it after,
he's fine with using girls. He's trying to change this; he's not doing
a great job with it, however. His other interests include girls, music
(he actually would love to be in a band with Kris one day - they're
trying to work this out), sports (he plays basketball), and making
and directing videos. Though he might hate to admit it, he also enjoys
writing. He will never go too deep or express his emotions through
poetry, but he likes it nevertheless. Mase, as he is so often called,
can be very protective (sometimes overly protective) of his friends
and people he cares about, though this may just be a rumor.

SECRET } Mason is a black moonstepper. Yes, that does have
a lot to do with his protective instincts.

As I walked near the school, my long, beautiful hair shined under the sun, despite the fact I had an umbrella over my head. Looking through the crowds, I walked inside and back out, sitting against the big, white tree.

MASON PETER DUNN

The sound of the first bell caused Mason to walk just a little bit faster. Though he didn't really care about being late, he knew the consequences could be harsh. As he reached the large tree in the middle of the front lawn, he slowed down slightly, watching, from a distance, the girl leaning against the trunk. He had seen her around and he had always sensed something different. He wanted to know what, and this might be his chance.

"Hey there," he greeted with a small wave, slowly approaching her.

He couldn't help but gasp, though quietly to himself, as he saw her skin. It was a pale white color, lighter than any other he had seen. He shrugged it off, considering it was nothing, and shifted his gaze back to the girl. "I'm Mason," he told her with a nod.

The second bell had just rung as Brooke hurried across the front lawn towards the doors of the school. She said hi to a few people on her way, stopped to chat every now and then, and ended up near the steps by the two doors, sitting on the railing and waiting.

He shook his head, still wondering where she went, but knowing this was an average occurance for a school like this. He was curious, though, and walked in the direction that she had left, calling out her name once or twice.
