Oops, skipped a day :/

Truth:
Is what I want to hear.
Not a screwed up web of lies,
not even if to "protect me".
The only person you're trying to protect is yourself,
don't you dare lie about that.

I can't believe I fell for anything you said,
i should have seen it coming,
but I had to go and lie to myself.
And now im left with no
hope.
trust.
softness.

Why couldn't you just let the truth slip past your parted lips.
So we could move forward,
accept each other.
Instead of this paranoia you have instilled upon my disapointed self.
