Kiri's Emoticons

Kiri's form of animation practice, though it's more just screwing around nowadays.

These things are free to use, just send 'em to me if they ask where ya got them.
Suggestions welcome, if I like it I'll look into it. And even if not, I'll probably do it anyways, 'cause I'm nice.
I draw them on Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and animate on Jasc Animation Shop 3 ('cause Photoshop 7 is before Adobe added animation settings. >.<)


The sites I frequent on never have clapping emotes, so I made one.


...they also never have a waving one.
I am very happy with this one. It's got surprisingly smooth animation.


Also, the evil ones are always very openly evil, like they're ready to do an evil cackle. I made this as a more "leave me to my scheming" one.


Anyone actually click the song links in my sig? One of my favorites from STWPT is We Are the Robot Pirates. So, robot pirate.


'Nother song-inspired one, Never this time.
What this one actually is is up to you, though.
Pink one coming back was just to smooth it out while looping, but whatever floats yer boat.
Also a favorite, and took forever.


Your typical Grey Rain of Depression! Just 'cause.


This emoticon just killed a puppy. He is laughing evilly.
At the request of Mia, but I was planning on doing an evil laugh emote anyways.


This one took FOREVER. I had to make the rain rather consistent and smoothly looped. Not as easy as it may sound.
So, two people under an umbrella. I mixed it up and did orange and purple instead of blue and pink.


A simple dance. Nothing special.


I was watching someone play through one of the original Sonic the Hedgehog games, and they glitched themselves to a point where they couldn't continue, so had to wait for the time to run out. They sat there for ten minutes discussing sandwiches and pie and Pokémon. It made me hungry.
So I made a smiley eating a sandwich.


No comments. Is sleeping, I was bored.


Practice practice practice. I wanted to try bouncy walking. I think I'll keep to the regular kind except for, like, special stuff.



Distracted by the shiny! The second one is just the emote poking the shiny, while the first has the actual "distraction" part.


Holy crap a bug. I'ma stand on a chair and scream.


Chatting on a phone. The phone looks more like a silver banana to me.

Hugs! Why black and white? 'Cause I love monochrome. And again, variety, plus it doesn't necessarily have to be boy and girl. Regular friends hug.
Like the shiny, glomp and just the hug frames.


On request, a gymnast. Sorta. I don't follow these kinds of things.
But this was as annoying as all... shnargamfrarg. No, that's not a word. It's angrish!
This thing is more than double the frames I've ever used in an emote at 51. Needless to say, the file's pretty large compared to the others.
But I'm very happy with it.

I don't think I'll do descriptions from this point on. It's getting to where I have nothing to say about these things. If I do I'll just post them when I do the update-bump post.








I'll update this when I make new ones, which may be anywhere from a few hours or several weeks. Depends how busy/inspired/not lazy I am.

Added two new ones.

Evil laugh is evil laugh. Everyone should be familiar with the concept.

More rain and another couple emote. Sharing an umbrella is considered romantic in Japan. I just think it's cute. I could hardly resist. It took me forever to get the rain to sync up, until I just cropped it and made it easier.
At this point does it really surprise anyone that I don't have a boyfriend? Then again, I don't want one either.
