Template (no, this isn't a template, it's a question)

What's a template exactly? I've seen people post 'em, but I've never really known what they are.

Basically they're just like a special formatting for each of your characters. Most of the time they're just used in private roleplays. The ones I see have the character's name somewhere, a special font and color, different sizes, a picture, lyrics of some sort, and a little section at the bottom for ooc and credits and such. They can be customized however you want, though - like, the two I have don't have any pictures.

The whole point of them, I think, is just to make the character stand out more than they would with just color differences. (And maybe to make the RPers themselves look more impressive. XD)

They're used to have things look more professional in RP's. And I find them a bit easier to use. (:
