Weird Color Thing

Okay, on this thread: https://shadowsowner888.forumotion.net/help-f3/weird-formatting-t5593.htm all from Cyn's post down was purple. Including 'Best-Selling Author' thing, all the things written in nicknames, badges, and TA's.

All that I see purple is her post, and my quote of her post. Care to elaborate/post a screenshot?

Oh, yeah - which browser do you use? Some browsers seem to render things differently.

It's so annoying. I used FF to view it (I almost had forgot how much I hate it ) and it /does/ render like that.
There's not really a solution, though. :/ This /never/ happens with MyBB.

Yeah, this happens sometimes. It might be because Cyn's color tags weren't all closed, but it's kinda hard to tell. I went to edit her post just now, but there's so much color that it'd be really hard to pick out. xD

Cyn431: Sorry that happened. xD I viewed the link, though, and things were fine for me on Firefox... Originally I would have put up that argument, but then I saw Shadow edited, so no point of saying that.

I'm posting here now simply for experiment, if that's fine. If everything from this post down once more goes purple, I will stop my font coloring and just go with the (boring) default black.

No, I don't think it was the coloring itself that caused the problem, Cyn. xD I suspect the quote and code boxes messed it up somehow. Or just the number of color tags, cus then it woulda been easy to miss a closing tag.

It's fine. I don't get why everything is messed up like this, though... it rather annoys me.
Maybe, and I'm just grasping at strings here, you layered your tags incorrectly?

Yeah, that's definitely possible. I remember myself messing up the layering sometimes and it'd ruin everything if there was a ton of code in that post. xD

The noparse tag has been removed. *dies* But yeah, that probably is the case.

It used to be what you used if you wanted bbcode which didn't actually convert to italic text or whatever, and I swear it used to work. But I think they removed it. Dx
