Change Of Plans

Sometimes things don't turn out the way you plan. Things change, people change, and you have to go with it. There isn't any point in moping around because something didn't go the way you wanted it to, but sometimes we mope anyway. We get mad, sad, disappointed, or frustrated, which are all understandable, but sometimes we take it too far. We let our emotions get the better of us instead of just going with the changed plans. Just because something changes doesn't mean that it changes for the worst.

Now, it's a lot easier to go with the flow when it's something you haven't been looking forward to, isn't it? Because it's a nice surprise. The circumstances change for the better, therefore putting you in a better mood instead of a worse mood. But that's not the hard part, the hard part is giving up something good. Trying to forget about what could have been and going with what's going to be isn't all that easy. You have to let go of what you've been expecting.

But if you can learn to roll with the punches, then life will be a whole lot happier.
