Why am I getting so many emails?

Today I logged on to my email and I had pages and pages of emails from TWIG notifying me of new replies. Even though I rarely use this email account, I'd rather not get all these messages. I checked my preferences, and for each one that involves an email being sent to me, I selected 'No'. Why is this still happening?

I don't know... although I checked the preference, too.. I get tons of emails from Twig, as well.

I don't even bother deleting them anymore, though. XP

Always notify me of replies

Notify by mail when a new message has arrived in your in-box

Warn me of PM from a PM mailing

Display a pop-up window on new private messages

All of them except for the last one, Liz. That one I need. xD

Really? O,o I always just look at the top. I easily notice when I get a PM. XD

I need it. My dad's laptop blocks pop-ups, and I'm too lazy to turn the blocker off. So whenever I recieve a new PM, I don't notice for a while. That's why it's taken me so long to reply to some of yours, Mia.

You have to go to your profile (not the one people can see; one to edit) and click: Topic Being Watched. Make sure you aren't watching any topics, because you get e-mails if you are. (:

I'm watching a lot of topics, though it's accidental. Whenever I'm using my phone to get on Twig, my finger will sometimes press the wrong thing - instead of clicking a page number, 'Watch this topic for replies' will be clicked - so ... yeah, that's why.

I think you're watching all of those topics for a different reason. xD When I first joined, I got e-mails for every topic I post on. Until I did that, it was automatic. xD
