~I'm a former Shadow~

(M&F None, not really, it's talking about a shadow and different things. Word count: 278-100,000)

Your soul pushes out, mine pushes in,
Black and white, my perfect sin.
Your heart reaches out, mine pulls away,
You embrace the morning, I shun the day.
I’m a simply shell, of my former mind,
What you see is what you get, what you want is what you find.
I play around on walls, I watch your body move,
I’m just a simple shadow, I have nothing but to prove.
You skip and jump and dance, I watch you play about,
My soul pushes in, Yours pushes out.

Black and white, I sit alone,
I’m never found, I have no home.
You reach out your arms, but I do too,
And what you think, is what I do.
I’m like a puppet, but no strings attach,
You throw a ball, I cannot catch.
I’ve seen your tears, yes when you cried,
I’ve pushed my best, God knows I’ve tried.
I walk dark paths, you’ve never shown,
Black and white, you sit alone.

Your heart reaches out, I don’t care,
It wouldn’t matter, because I’m never there.
You hug your knees, you hold your head,
I watch you sleep, I guard your bed.
And when they tease, I watch them spit,
I want to help, but I’m just an It.
I know I feel, It’s just not fair!
Your heart reaches out, I don’t care.

You embrace the morning, how sincere,
But when I’m there, you’re always here.
It seems so bleak, my strong retreat,
My worthless victory, my perfect defeat.
But dance around, you’ll see me shine,
I am yours, and you are mine,
So have no worries, don’t ever fear,
You embrace the morning, how sincere.

Yay! I probably would never have noticed that if I hadn't just done the same thing in my own poem, though. xDD I'm just that observant.

XD Yeah, my last poem I just bolded some meaningful words. This time, I had a meaning inside a meaning.... Lol, I'm tired! I think I might be able to do this 100,000 words challenge! Can't wait till I reach the goal!
