Ignoring the fact I may die, I hung on the the frame of the doorway and screamed. "Jack! Come back! You're gonna die!" I cried.

"I-I don't know..." Just then I heard a shatter of glass from above, as the lights went out. It was dark, and all we had down here was junk-food, like M&Ms, Funnions, things you would find in a vending machine. I wrapped my arms around my body, feeling cold. Really, really cold. I could only guess what would happen next, a freezing snowstorm, flood, fire. But that was only a guess.

"Yeah, I'm sure there's a flashlight and blanket around here..." I sighed, not knowing how we could get a light source. He had a fireplace down here, just we needed sticks. We needed someone brave enough to go out into the cold acid rain. And I wasn't afraid to be that brave one.
