Death Note Story Discussion Thread

Soo, I got an idea, but I want to do it with a partner. Here's the idea:
(you must have read/watched Death Note,just to let you know. )

Light won the battle against Near and Mikami killed everyone in the warehouse. Matt and Mello never died, as Light wrote Takada's name before she could kill Mello, and Matt escaped the police. Now Kira rules, but Matt and Mello are trying to work together to catch Kira. They eventually split up, as, like Near and Mello, they can't work well together. So now Mello and Matt are working head and head to catch Kira, while Light told everyone he knew that everyone around him dropped dead once Mikami appeared. Mikami is put in jail and Light steals his notebook, while Misa is kidnapped by Matt. She starts to take a liking to Matt and then he 'un-kidnaps' her but she stays with him and helps with his investigation.

I know it's twisted, but anyone up to try it with me?

That seems like an epic idea, Twarry. I don't really feel like taking on any new stories or anything like that right now, but I wanted to post so you know somebody at least saw this, and to say that when you do find a partner and start writing this, I hope you post it and I really wanna read it. :3

If Ratty hasn't claimed I'd be willing to. Once I'm done with my current novel, I really need something to do for TwigWriSum. Dunno... maybe all three of us could do it, alternating chapters? xD

Okie dokies. Should the prologue be the scene in the warehouse? If it is, can I write it?

I think that scene would also work best with Light, too. I know it was either him or Mikami, but it would be easiest for Light, I think. And more.....passionate. Mikami would be like 'I did good, right, God?' and it might be a bit awkward.
Now I feel embarassed.
(it's just a suggestion, by the way)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Light's POV. Since we'll probably be switching POVs through the story, it should all be in third person, right?

I think by second chapter she meant the chapter after the prologue. I could be wrong, though. xD
