I slipped my coat on and nudged Jonathan gently. He groaned and flipped over. I punched his shoulder. "Wake up, Goldilocks," I yelled.

He startled awake and rolled off the bed, falling onto the floor. He groaned and sat up, looking for his shoes. As soon as everyone was done, I went out to the car.

Libby got out of the parking lot without breaking anything except a necklace on the ground, and drove out onto the street.

During that time, most were asleep. I woke up just to see us passing the boarder into Nevada. I looked at the GPS. "We're close," I told her.
