Many vampires are being murdered by hunters.. only 5 remain. Two of them are in love but they don't know it, they are Emily and Alex. The other three are loners, wandering the Earth in search of humans that are perfect for the vampire lifestyle.

Emily: I sighed as another animal was killed by me. I pushed my glossy, black hair back as blood dripped from my mouth.

Alex: I walked around the woods, bored out of my mind. I couldn't think of anything to do but sit and kill.

Emily: "Fresh meat.." I sniffed the air once. Alex's scent was nearby.. "Alex!" I turned invisible.

Alex: I heard my name called and froze, paralized not knowing who it was calling my name. I climbed a nearby tree and looked all around me trying to find who it was that called my name.

"Yeah, I see you." I replied, popping my head out from invisibility.

" Ahh." I screamed grabbing on to the branch so i wouldn't fall. I put my hand to my chest and breathed." Seriously? Don't scare me like that." I said a little angry.

"Get used to it Alex...." It's gonna happen!

I shook my head. I looked down at Emily and smiled.

"Aren't you hunting?"

" No." I said looking down. I jumped from the branch landing by Emily.

"I was, it was goooood."

" Cool." I said nodding. I was hungry but i wasn't really hungry so I put it off.

"You sure you're not hunting? My calculations from your facial expressions say you're hungry."

" Ok fine Mrs.SmartyPants iwill go hunting." I said agrivated now. I ran deep away from Emily and caught scent of a deer in a meadow. I ran after it eating it happily in the middle of the tall grass lush meadow.

"It's fun messing with him." I smirked and walked off, back to the base.

I ran back to were Emily had been she wasn't there. I ran after her scent that was strong.

I sat on the floor and went invisible.

I could still smell Emily but i couldn't see her 'wierd' I thought. I looked around and sat down on the ground near a wall.

"Ow! Hey, watch it Alex."
