Tamaki's dub voice fits him much better than the japanese voice in my opinion. I watched the sub first, and my favorite character was like... hikaru or kaoru (though I hate their yaoi act) or honey... then I watched the dub and... well, Tamaki became my absolute fave.

Okay, just making this clear... Hikaru and Kaoru were doing something called "fan service". It's really popular in J-Pop/J-Rock bands, but it's completely harmless. It's just to put on a show for the girls. It's not yaoi. Yaoi actually involves some sort of romantic feelings.

I can't agree with it being 'completely harmless'. And I consider it a yaoi act because, they are making it seem as though they do have romantic feelings (even if they are pretending). I'm glad the dub tones it down a lot.

Yes, I loved that one. It was so funny! They were throwing everything at each other and in the end it was all a game...

That is the ONLY episode I have watched fully in Japanese with subs. Only because I couldn't find it in English at the time...XD

I watched the whole thing in subs at first, because I couldn't find the dubs. Then when I found out FUNimation had put the dubs up, I rewatched the whole series.

I watched almost every episode in English. I can get the feelings in each episode better if I watch in English.
I have to watch the end of episode 10 because of the vid on animefreak. It was a weird video player.

I prefer Japanese. Maybe because that's what I started with (I didn't know there were dubs when I started DN) and I'm too used the voices...? Also, I loooove the language.

I like the dubs. Because then I can go back forth between tabs and not have to stay at one for almost 30 minutes. XD

Um, actually, real yaoi is absolutely nothing like that. Never once did they kiss, and in most yaoi they go quite a bit further than kissing... So that's why it's fan service. I guess it could be called a "yaoi act" but fan service is the proper term.

I prefer dubs so that I don't have to read subtitles and watch the movie at the same time. and with dubs, if I have to look away from the screen, I don't miss what's being said.

I just have so much bottled up anger over the homophobic rules on this site. Takes me a long time to get rid of grudges, I guess... Sometimes I take it out on others...
