I got bored. xD Enjoy my fails!! xD But please don't take them because, well, they're mine and I worked hard on them. Seriously, don't take them.


Near from Death Note
I felt like drawing him for some reason. I finished the drawing, then thought his shirt looked weird without the shadows. Then I drew the shadows and thought his head looked weird without them. Now I'm wondering if I should've done them at all.....=/ I think I might redo it without shadows, just to see the comparison. I also feel I made him look too old and just.....not good. (And yes, the top of his head is supposed to be cut off. Look at the original in the spoiler if you don't believe me.)
PS: I drew his N next to him, but it was as I was waiting for it to upload and stuff so it's not in it. But if you peoples want me to rescan it so the N's in it, I will.

Near again
This is another picture of Near. I started out trying to draw L, but it was a fail so I googled another picture of Near cuz I love drawing him. I feel his hand came out bad, though. He was also angled wrong and his head looks too narrow. And the N was a fail. My first N was better, but I never scanned that. But I think it came out better than I expected.

I don't really know what to call this
I was bored and I really really like (the Glee version of) this song, especially these parts. For people who know this song, yes, I skipped a part, but that's cuz I wanted the other part in there and it wouldn't have fit with the part I skipped. Basically, all I did to this picture was get it from Google, edit it, and add text. Not really fancy, but I like the outcome.

Really? I feel shading made it a fail....and I think he looks too old.....plus, I have no clue what I did to his hand, but it is just so horrily drawn......and his shirt just came out bad......

I love it! Haha, that's the picture I based my first Near drawing off too. xD You did a much better job, though. Especially with the shading. I didn't shade. xD

Thanks I actually didn't use that exact picture, I used a smaller version of it that I cropped to fit with a picture of L. That's why his one side just ends instead of continues like in the picture. I just shaded because the shirt looked really awkward without shading xD Then the rest looked weird so I shaded it all xD

I actually feel the shading looks better in the actual drawing, though. It didn't entirely come out in the scan

Wow, I didn't even notice that you said there was a new one. xD It's good. You did an awesome job with the shirt, and believe me, compared to certain hands I've drawn (-cough-Kyoya's-cough-) that's really good. xD Like you said, his head's a bit distorted, but, psh, I always distort his head too. It's weird. xD

I feel his head looks normal in my first one, though xD I think I got too focused on his hair and shirt and shading so I forgot about the angle xD I kinda felt it'd be bad, though, cuz as I was drawing, the hair just wasn't lookin' right when compared to the picture xD

Yeah, that's the one I messed up on, though. xD

I tend to draw the head first, if that advice helps any.

Oh, gosh, the picture you gave me is coming out as a fail xD Especially the shadows xD I'm gonna end up taking random screen shots from the last 5 episodes and drawing them xD

I find it easier to start with the jawline, then do the hair from the bottom up, then the bangs, then the face, then the neck, shoulders, clothes, etc. That's just me, though. xD

I start with the hair because I use pieces of hair to help me locate where to put other stuff. Like, for example, I say to myself, "Ok, his shirt is supposed to start by that hair......and then his eye is next to that hair....." and stuff like that. Maybe that's why I find it hard to draw L. His hair is harder xD

I feel I should try to draw someone besides Near, but I dunno who xD

L! He's always fun to draw.

I tried, but his hair kinda failed and his hand really failed and I never even finished it xD I've been lookin for an easier picture of him than the one I was gonna use xD
