Before I give suggestions, would this be like a self-business thing like mowing lawns and all that, or are you at an age where it's legal to work at Borders or something? (Both of which are probably good examples, by the way. )

There's the ideas I gave you in your blog - local fast food restaurants, Walmart, your library if possible . . . or if there's a place you really wanna work at, it couldn't hurt to go in and just ask them if there's any jobs available. :3
If you want a simpler and easier way, though, or aren't old enough for the first options, then you could try babysitting or petsitting.

Woah. XD Yeah, mowing the lawn may not be the best option.
Borders is a bookstore, and judging by the fact you haven't a clue what it is I'm going to assume there isn't one in your area. Essentially it would be the same as working at the library.
I'd go with any of Shadow's given examples, but if it's a really expensive bassoon and you need like 600 dollars in three months, then I'd definitely try somewhere with really good pay. I just don't know any places with such a payment. xP

*raises hand to add more* If you really need a lotta money . . . well, in addition to finding an actual job, you could also try emailing the people in charge at FUN! Online Games to see if you could write articles for the magazine. :3 I do that, and it's not too hard, and pays pretty well - generally monthly, depending on how many articles you end up writing. The articles would basically just be about online games like Webkinz or stuff like that. XD But to be honest, I haven't seen an issue lately, so . . . I'm not positive about the content that goes in there these days. Have a look yourself and see if it's something you'd be good at!

Well, if you really want to try, you have to send the guy an email and tell him you'd be interested in writing an article.
Re: BASSOON MONEY! PLEASE HELP AND LOOK! PLEASE!
Just be patient. He'll get back to you at some point, unless he really doesn't need another writer. But even then, he'll probably reply. o.0
What about checking your newspaper, if they have a part for job listings? You can see all sorts of jobs in there . . . it could be for adult people, sure, but there's also stuff like people looking for babysitters. :3

Re: BASSOON MONEY! PLEASE HELP AND LOOK! PLEASE!
I have to take some stupid course that takes a YEAR. Not going through with anything.
Re: BASSOON MONEY! PLEASE HELP AND LOOK! PLEASE!
Oh, really? o.0 Cus I didn't have to . . . huh . . .
Re: BASSOON MONEY! PLEASE HELP AND LOOK! PLEASE!
You had to have a course? =/ Maybe you can find someone to babysit while the mother/father is still home but like working on taxes or work or gardening or something like that? My friend did that and she was only 11 when she did and she didn't have to take a course ;]Smirf wrote:I have to take some stupid course that takes a YEAR. Not going through with anything.
I know this sounds cheesey, but you can earn a few bucks from a lemonade stand =) Every dollar counts, right? =)
