I need a tutor...?

Okay, so my dad's friend is letting us install Photoshop on my computer (*Screams with joy*), and I am just learning about it. Can sombody who owns Photoshop...tutor me? xD

Hey, I don't use Photoshop for animations. Just the spritework, which you can effectively do in MS Paint.
I do know my way around the program, though. I just don't do photo manipulation (a.k.a. photoshopping) which is... exactly what the program was made for. Heh.

To be honest with you, I don't know that much about Photoshop. I mean, I guess I know enough to make decent graphics, but I still have loads to learn. I do a lot of things on PS my own way - which means I probably don't do it the right way - and it would be hard to teach. Regardless, I suppose I could try. What type of Photoshop do you have?

I could try. I mostly do simple things, and I have a really old version (Elements 3), but I've been using it for years so I know my way around.

Conclusion? You can know nothing and still make great stuff. Most of what I do is on accident. At least the first half a dozen times, anyways.

*giggles* I'm even more behind you. I've used Elements 2 (which my dad lost when someone stole his car), and plain ol' Photoshop 7. Which is actually older than it sounds--that's when they started making the Elements series... though it is a bit more complex; Elements is the watered-down consumer's version.
Then again, 2002 wasn't that long ago... right?

I don't even need photo manipulation (xD). And I know how to use it with animations already(thanks to YouTube xD), so I just need help with learning all the different tools and effects and stuff like that.
