The Country Debate Empty The Country Debate

Post by PugsRock 8/10/2009, 10:25 pm

This isn't a weekly debate. Smile

Which is better- the East Coast, the West Coast, or the middle of America?
North or South of the country?

If you don't live in America, maybe you can go by magazines.
In your posts, tell me about what makes life where you are greater than anywhere else. From education, to nature, to things you can do in your section of the country that's exclusive to where you are. Smile
Ready.. debate!

Well I don't live in America, but I'm from there Very Happy
I think that the best place in America is the rockies because mountains are awesome if you like the outdoors, and where I come from, there's everything from skiing to hiking to biking really close to everywhere. Well, not the skiing, because there's not snow all year, but still xD
The education is good and there are good colleges in the state.
Well, I'd add more but the battery on this laptop is running out, and now my dad came with a charger.

Well, I don't like oceans, creepy seaweed and fish, and hurricanes, and mountains are cool, but being around out there is just, meh, not home.

I like north, in the middle area, because it doesn't get too hot or cold, no creepy oceans, and not too bad storms.

I love the northern midwest, where I live. It's one of the safest places to be,and not as preoccupied with trends and fashions as other places.
Still,I don't see why tourist come here.I mean there isn't much to see besides farms, grass, trees, farms, rain, sleet, hail, more farms....
Maybe it's the churches. It's a very christian place.

I've been pretty to pretty much every part of the country... north east, south east, north west, etc. I personally like the North East (not too far up, though), because you pretty much get everything there- from sweltering weather to snow, there's the farms, the beaches, and the city. And of course, Broadway. xD I don't know what I'd do without being in a warm spot in the summer. xD And there are some beautiful things to see. Smile

I like mid-north-east. . .-ish, 'cause it's where I live and stuff. Then up more north, you get all these nice trees, and some cooler weather. I don't like hot tropical places, I like forests.

Well, I like average weather (I'm a very average person sad ) so, I wouldn't like to go too far north, or too far south (like where I am now).

I like the cold weather because I get to wear my jeans and Uggs. xD No, I don't mind the cold, because I don't really get cold easily. I'm always hot (in temperature. xD) so it'll be the middle of winter and I'm like, "Wow, it's warm out!" I'm a freak. But I do like the heat, too, even though I'm sensitive about it.

West Coast, obviously. Smile I'll admit, the earthquakes can be a little scary every once in a while, but we have Hollywood, not to mention Forks up to the north (cheesy). We have good schools, and, of course, we have me. grin

JK. That last one doesn't really make it any better.

Oh, plus, my area has pretty mild weather.
