I don't like today

Had an awful morning and feeling all around like crap. It hurts and I could really use a hug. Neutral

But mainly it is dealing with the fact that my current story was completely bashed and I was told that I am a very boring writer. I think it mainly tore at me because I was hoping that I had improved since I last wrote something and I was excited because I thought I had.

My friends say he was just a jerk...but those are friends for ya. I keep wondering if he was right. Oh well.

I am gonna try to get back in to writing for today. Hopefully it will work out.

*hug* I'm sorry, Sil. :/ Criticism is horrible like that . . . sometimes you need it, but it can be hurtful, too.

Don't think I'm trying to agree with that person, though. xD I don't know your writing well enough to be a judge. All I have to say about him specifically is that he probably could've been nicer about it. >.>

It's fine. Everyone has different tastes. He just didn't like my writing and decided to let that be none.

How could someone have bashed your story? I thought it was absolutely wonderful! The plot's so original and I'm loving it already, honestly. That person must have had a very bad day, or just has ridiculously low self esteem. Don't let them bring you down. :3 Like Shadow said, sometimes we need criticism, so I guess the best thing to do would be to take it in a good way and use it to improve.

I love EdenEcho, by the way... o.o I haven't listened to the complete playlist yet, but that's another one I've liked so far.

Haha, yes. XD I just struggle with this. Whenever I lose something that I spend most of my time on, even if just for a while, it's hard to cope, because there's this big void and I sometimes don't know what to do with it . . . eh, though, I really do need a break from the computer. My wrists have seriously been hurting lately, and I have a feeling that it's entirely my fault. o.e
