The General's Journal for August 20

Yay! Only 11 days 'till September! I can't wait 'till I find out if I got second chair in band.

We had a lot of good times when we were in marching band,
I thought it'd go on for ever like pi.
socialize for so long, I couldn't wait to get to get to band camp,
Dreaming 'bout you makes me feel alright.
Then you left me all alone,
Said you had to go back home.
Is there something I should know?

Yup, that's a take on 7:05 by the Jonas Brothers.

I'm close to finishing the next chapter of SLAYERS, but I'll save them 'till close to next featured, so maybe I'll win. I don't get how that could work, but maybe it will.

So, today, I have no plans, I think, but my mom is going to get like these bell thingies for my percussion in band, from the percussion director of band.

And, another thing, feel free to post fun ideas about how to tell a girl I like her. Here's some options I have:

1- Shad' asks the girl who her second choice of crush is, and if the girl tells Shad', then she'll tell me but not who it is. Then I get to go to the girl, and make a deal with her. I tell her another girl I like, if she tells me who her second choice is. If she agrees, I tell her I like her, and if she won't tell me who her second choice is, Shad'll blurt it out.

2- I gather our little club together, and say, "Okay, so I like someone new. . . Don't tell her, but I like _______", and of course, this girl is in our little club.

3- I ask her what kind of way she'd like a guy to tell her he likes her. If she tells me how, I either repeat it there, or later.
