Sleep is Evil
Hi Twigers!
I was going to put this in my blog, but I figured here was a better place.
So today, I kept on waking up but being too tired to move then falling asleep again...
But this one super weird thing happened.
I woke up at like five, but when I fell asleep again, I felt something on my neck. It was super weird and was buzzing or something. I was also like choking and gargling for some reason but when I woke up again, I was fine.
Things like that happen so much, though. When I was at my grandpa's house sleeping, I felt like electric charges were going through my brain. My grandma died and used to be in that room, so I kinda mentally screamed for her to stop it (I was totally half-asleep and had no idea what I was talking about) and eventually it did stop. But honestly, weirdest thing ever...
Do you guys ever fall asleep consciously? I know that sounds super weird... But what I mean is, we normally fall asleep without realizing it then just waking up... But have you ever known you were falling asleep and were actually aware of the trance you were in?
That happens to me and I hate it. When that happens, I fight the sleep off because it feels unnatural.
Which brings me to my theory.
**THIS IS A JOKE**
Sleep is an evil addiction that gradually kills us day by day.
I think that the more we sleep, the more we start to rely on it. Which is why babies sleep so much, because the sleep attacks them at a young age so that they'll start their addiction to a good start.
But I think if we never sleep in the first place, and if we resist it as babies, we'll never die. Because as we sleep, we begin to rely on it and can't quit without dying... But if we never start it in the first place, we'll have nothing to worry about it.
It's like alcohol. Some people rely on it to solve their problems but before they ever had it, they were perfectly fine. Except you can quit alcohol without dying whereas with sleep, you can't.
I guess it could be the same thing with food... But sleep's different. It puts you in a trance that renders you defenseless... It lures you in with sweet dreams, and sometimes it lets its true evil shine through and shows you nightmares. Okay, I sound like a nutcase...
But really, think about it. Creepy crap always happens to me when I sleep, sometimes I'll wake up and things will be scratching my feet, weird things will appear to jump on me... But there's nothing I can do about it because I'm too tired to move or scream.
So yeah, that's my theory of the day. XP

Re: Sleep is Evil
Same with me. I can never sleep if I have to wake up early, because I'm too worried about getting to sleep at the right time.
I still say it's evil, though. XP

Re: Sleep is Evil
I can never really fall asleep and when I do, it's always really late and then I'm forced to wake up early.

Aw, that sucks. I used to be like that, but now that it's summer I don't have to wake up early so I'm fine. School will be torture, though.

Okay, interesting theory. . . I think sleep is vital, though.

I'm usually get about 4 hours of sleep a night. My mom said to ask my doctor about it when I go for my checkup.

That's the part that confuses me, Mo! xD Lawl! I can't think of any good reason that your theory could be incorrect.
o.0 That's not good. Or it is good. Depending on what's right. xD

Lol, that's weird because I was totally joking. But yeah, maybe the theory is right. O.o
Hmm... That's not good, Saddle. You should try Lunesta. Or some other sleeping drug.
XP I know, right?

Re: Sleep is Evil
Actually, my mom proved it wrong. xP She said something insulting when Gri told her about your theory, but the nice version is, "The bible disagrees." Idk where, but it must be in there somewhere. xD
Re: Sleep is Evil
I was just kidding about that. I know that sleep is vital, and that there is nothing wrong with it. I actually believe that sleep is a gift from Goddess to help restore our health and prepare us for the day that God has planned for us.
Your mom doesn't need to go saying insulting things about kids she doesn't know.

I, personally, do like to know what God has to say about things. If He says it's evil, then it's evil. He is always right.

Re: Sleep is Evil
Yeah, I agree with you. I was just venting on that post and I edited it out. XP I was kinda angry at the time because people always accuse me of being anti-Christian or racist when I'm not, I just tend to somehow insult people when I don't even say anything wrong. I don't mind when people bring religion into things, as long as they're not accusing me of offending God or anything when that's clearly not my intention.

Re: Sleep is Evil
Also, Shad...don't forget to capitalize Bible.
Well, sometimes, people, like forget. People could make He with a lowercase h, accidentally put God lowercase, ect.

I'm sure they don't mean to forget. I didn't even know I was supposed to capitalize it until recently. I've gone to church maybe three times my entire life? So yeah...

My mom doesn't want me to until we talk to my doctor. I got a lot of things to talk to my doctor about.

I agree. Sometimes I feel a little embarrassed for doing something I'm not supposed to, but I don't do it again.Jesus4Eternity wrote:I, personally, do like to know what God has to say about things. If He says it's evil, then it's evil. He is always right.
