{Greetings all. I am currently freaking out because my house is being overrun by huge spiders. Okay, they aren't that big, but I have arachnophobia, so they seem huge. xP}

Kevin was just sitting down somewhere, relaxing. As the days passed, he was getting more and more jittery about the baby. Could you blame him? The poor guy was nervous that he'd be a sucky Dad. Awwwh.....

Casey was just as anxious. Although, for different reasons. She was worried about her parental skills, but she was mostly worried about dying while giving birth or having a stillborn or something equally ridiculous. And the stillborn idea was especially silly because this baby was seriously moving around inside her like heck.

She was wandering around, trying to figure out where Kevin had gone, when the baby kicked her again. She winced. "You're really starting to annoy me with that," she muttered.

Kevin glanced up, seeing her and hearing her. He smiled slightly. "Who's annoying you with what?" he called curiously, arching an eyebrow and tilting his head to one side.

She huffed as she sat down by him, putting a hand on her round stomach. But she smiled. "He keeps kicking." Casey didn't know its gender for sure - she'd decided in the end she didn't want to know until it was born - but she'd taken to calling it a boy because it was so violent.
