We sit in like a semi circle thing. The flutes are in the front, closest to the center. Across from us, on the other side of the center, is the clarinets. Behind the clarinets is the saxophones. And behind the flutes is trumpets. Percussion is directly across from the director, in the very back.
That's how it usually is for us.
I'd accuse you of being in the same school as me, but you peoples switched seats xD
That's like mine. And the trombones are behind the saxaphones...

Re: The Band Geeks Club
We've got a lot of trombones. Including our dad.
We have a semi-circle, with the director facing the center, a bit of a distance from the farthest-out seats. The flutes would be to the director's left, occupying half the first and second rows, with the clarinets, oboes, bassoons, piccolos, and other odd stuff in right side of the first two rows. Behind the flutes are the first trumpets, and on their (from their POV, remember,) left are the alto saxophones, to the end of that line, which doesn't go all the distance that the first line does, there's about a quarter left of that whole line to go to complete the circle. On our left are the percussion who occupy the left of the semi-circle.
Behind us are the french horns, and on their right are the second and third trumpets. Behind them are the trombones, I think, and at the left (from the trombone's POV) end of that line are the tubas and susaphones, but between them and the trombones is sometimes a tenor sax, and with the french horns is sometimes a different saxophone I can't name.

Re: The Band Geeks Club
The reason the saxs and the trumpets stop is cuz they don't meet in the middle. There's not enough of them. And the flutes and clarinets have 2 rows each.

That's awesome! xD I wish our band had guitars. Even just a bass guitar would be epic.
Re: The Band Geeks Club
We also have rock bands. I'm not in them, but they're pretty cool.

Re: The Band Geeks Club
Aw, thanks. Concert bands are pretty amazing too. . . just not as amazing as the Blue Jeans.
I have a feeling off topic that The Blue Jeans will end up with more alternative than anything else. . . It's all we've planned to do so far, so we might have to change our name to the Blue Denim.

Re: The Band Geeks Club
Lol, well, there's no problem with changing names! xD Just, don't make me propose it, because Kayleigh said she always wanted to have a band called The Blue Jeans, and I'd feel bad taking that away from her . . . though she probably wouldn't mind much when it all came down to it. xD
Re: The Band Geeks Club
I recorded almost my entire band rehersal today. xD Cept the first song we play. But that's cuz a lot of people sound awful at one point in that -- including flutes -- and I didn't want us to sound like a trainwreck. xD It's all one long recording, but that's cuz my band director's strict about cell phones and I didn't want him to seem me reaching in my pocket after every song. I think I paused it for a while once before Apollo's Chariot, but that's it. I'm gonna listen to it to see how it sounds and then -- if it's good -- try to get it to here.

Re: The Band Geeks Club
Haha, you can hear my director's critiques and random talking and playing in between songs. xD That's the disadvantage of non stop recording. xD And it's like 20 somethin minutes long. xD
