I continued to look into her eyes. "When did you learn...that you were...pregnant?" I looked down. I didn't know if that is something you ask a pregnant woman. I was embarrassed. I think I even blushed a little.

I stared deeply into her eyes. I reached the rest of the way and grabbed her hand. "I love you. I could stare into your eyes all day, and not care what was going on around me."

I left the room. I went to go see if she could be released. They told me that the doctor released into my care. I was responsible. I went back to the room and told her the news. "They're releasing you, but under my care. I'm responsible for you...if anything else happens."

I grabbed her face and squeezed it with my hands. Hard! I pulled her face against mine. Our eyes almost touched, that's how close I pulled her. "I will kill you if you hurt me enough!"
