I stared at her dizzy. "9...9 months! Already!" I just stared at the celing. "I can't believe the baby's almost here!"

I took a bite. I cringed and started to gag. "It's not so," I gaged, "Bad!" I swallowed. I looked at my salad. It was huge! Alright, that's one bite down...only 20 more to go!

I grabbed her hand. Then I let go of it. What am I doing? Why do I want to hold her hand? I reached down again and grabbed her hand. I almost let go again, but I stopped myself. I held our combined hands up to my face. What was so hard about this? I was so confused! I started to get a migraine.

(I gotta eat dinner. And for some reason, after NEVER doing my homework on Tuesdays after working for 5 hours, my dad is expecting me to do homework...)

I got up and helped her up as well. I put my hands on her shoulders and asked, "Are you okay?" I looked down and said, "I'm sorry. I didn't see the rock." I didn't even see the rock. I shouldn't have been embarrassed and covered up the blush. This wouldn't have happened if I would've paid attention.

"Are you sure? We could stay here for a while...if you want." I started to blush again.I realized what I said. I added quickly, "I mean so then you can rest and see if the injury isn't as bad as it seem so I don't have to run you into town and get checked out by the doctor." I gasped for air. I don't know why I just rambled. It wasn't even a normal ramble! It was a ramble that all ran together. My blush was extremely noticable now. I coughed and covered up my face again.
