"Yes I'm sure. I don't want to take away your time with the baby." I wanted to hold him so bad, but she just went through all that pain. It wasn't fair for me to take him away from her.

I went over and picked him up. "Wow. He's even more gorgeous when you hold him." I looked at Brittani. "He's looks so much like you. It's like we cloned you and made him."

I slid to the floor, hands on my head in distress. So, this was what was happening. But, why all of a sudden? Being a novice at love, I didn't know how to react, what to do. Should...should I tell him? No, no, he'd probably reject me. Should I just wait until he tells me? No...he'd never...What should I do?!?

I glanced at the phone, ready to pick it up and dial Shika's number. But, I stopped myself. I should probably...just leave him alone for a while. To get my thoughts and feelings straightened out a bit.
