Uh hi i would like to start a contest I was thinking maybe one where you write a short summary of a story it can be a summary of a story they have already written or just one they made up would this kind be good?

Kind of, I think it would be better if you provided the piece of writing that they had to summarize.

When I thought of the contest idea I thought that they could be just added to the user's TwigBucks, as it would encourage people both to create contests and to participate.

Maybe I am not sure I hope it is like if you have to take the prize away from mine then i am not makeing that the prize lol.

No i mean okay if my prize was twig bucks then lets say the prize was 20 does the 20 come out of mine or they just add them?

They would just be added to the users, they wouldn't come out of yours.

Another idea i had is what if They had to make a character for a story i would tell them what the story would be about they would have to think of the name personallity description an they could even post a picture if they wanted to.

That's a very good idea! I like that one better than your original. Just make sure that it follows the steps on the first page of this thread!

Okay thanks i think i will make it write now i think it is pretty simple so the prize will be 10 Twig bucks an a badge of there choice that I give them the options of does that sound okay?

Yep, Twigadopts for sure, or perhaps a piece of artwork? ^^ It depends on the contest, but pretty much anything, really.

Or it could just be bragging rights. There doesn't have to be a prize.

What were Twigbucks?

There was a slot in the profile to edit Twigbucks, which was basically Twig's currency; everyone started with a hundred, and we used them to pay each other for contests. We ended up removing them because it was a really bad system, though, and they weren't used much anyway.
