Has Anyone (Besides Arianna :) Used CreateSpace or another s

I am thinking about publishing 'Power' with createspace but I'm not sure, I would love to hear more about it/ if any of you are thinking about using it

Yeah, I'm not sure... I haven't. I was thinking about it though, but I don't have any finished stories. Lol.

Not really, but I've looked at Lulu and Createspace. xD Createspace to me seems like the best way to self-publish.

Yeah, I think so too. Lulu would be my second choice because it's a little less clear on everything

Well, I really liked how you could just upload the document, use the cover creator to make a nice cover, and that it got to go on amazon. I also loved how the books look so nice and real, and that the author can buy the books (as many as they want) for a minimum price.

I didn't like that you get more of a profit when people buy from the actual createspace store, because I could then either refer them to amazon (the major seller, but get less money) or createspace (a part of amazon, but less known, and get more money) so there was a choice to be made there. I didn't like how you need to order a proof copy and then approve it, so I just ordered it and then clicked "Approve" because I was too impatient.

Overall, it's a great service, and it was fun to use. However, I'd only really use it if you're sure that your book doesn't really stand a chance at getting published.

If you don't mind my asking, how many copies have you sold?

Yeah. CreateSpace looks like the most "trust worthy" self publishing website. xD But I only have about two finished stories and one is a Webkinz fan fic. xD

Oh - yeah, if you're putting it in Shadows of Inspiration, I don't think you'd be able to publish it on its own.

I thought there was something about how CreateSpace wanted to be the first to let people read it or something.

That doesn't really add up, to me. It seems like there'd be something against it . . . it's like, if you put it in TwigBook, it'll be copyrighted by that, and so IDK if you'd have the right to publish it on its own too.

I'm not sure what Createspace says about that, though. So I'd look over the member agreement. xD Hopefully it'll say something about this!

Lawl, yeah, it's rightfully your own work. xD So I don't even have the right to sue or anything, the way I see it, whether I legally could or not. Since that's all it says, then, I'll shut up. Sorry for the trouble!
