Aerith was a Slytherin, of course, her answer was obvious, "Yes."

I blushed and turned my attention to the lake. It looked so...peaceful. I wonder what it's like underneath the surface?

She gazed upon the sparkling lake ... silently.

I dropped my gaze from the lake, and stared at our intertwined hands. Why was she toying with my emotions like this? I have feelings for her, and she said when we're older. So now why is she doing this to me?

I grabbed her hand, pulling her through the door with me.
"Great!" I grinned. "Race you. Ready, set, go!" I took off down the hill towards the forest.

Aerith giggled, then began running, not that far behind.

I looked up from our hands and found her face. I just stared at her, as she gazed into oblivion. "Do you see anything interesting?" I asked her.
